Absolutely excellent company! My 25 old furnace failed just as cold weather rolled in Dec 2025 a week before holidays. Within a day Cromwell energy came in and gave an estimate. Out of 5 vendors who provided quotes Cromwell Energy was very competitive on price. Even though they were booked I pleaded to help expedite installation and to my amazement the following day Jeff managed to rearrange crew's schedule and 2 guys came in the afternoon and worked late until installation was completed. 2 guys were working non-stop that day. Superb work ethics and job was done very professionally. Later on home inspector came in and praised work that was done. For any heating/cooling future problems Energy Solutions would be contacted first.

After days away I came home to find my house at 44 degrees on a Saturday afternoon.Brian came out first thing Sunday morning to fix my hot water heater. He was punctual, professional, and clearly explained what he was doing and why. When he was done everything worked perfectly. 10/10 would recommend Brian and Cromwell Energy.

I called this morning 10-10-25 because I had no heat. The girl that took my call could not give a time but said it would be today. The service man arrived at 11:00 and by 12:30 I had heat. The young man who came was a gentleman, he quoted me a price and I agreed. This is the first time I called for service from Cromwell Energy and it was a pleasure to have them. If anyone out there needs service this is definitely the Company to call.

SHORT REVIEW: Honest, polite, punctual, reliable, and educated me on all steps for a MAJOR overhaul with a complex steam boiler replacement in an old home in Middletown, CT. They completed the job flawlessly. If they are skilled enough to do what they did at my house - they can definitely get you hooked up right. FULL STORY REVIEW (AND RATIONALE FOR WHY THEY ARE GREAT): In June 2024, My wife and I purchased my grandparent's former farmhouse in Middletown (it had not been occupied since 2008). The steam boiler was from ~2006 (but looked like it was taken off the titanic and installed on bricks in the cellar). After doing some amateur youtube research on steam boilers, I ran a couple of test runs and determined it was super sketchy/didn't seem safe running (the autofill was not working, so you had to fill it manually - it was also actively dripping water once full). In short, it was bad. I interviewed several local companies - one that starts with C and ends in LARK'S, one that starts with A and ends with IELLO, and lastly CROMWELL ENERGY. The first guy came and looked at it/said he could do it (and never responded to any of my followup calls). Next guy came and didnt even look at the boiler but quoted me at 38K. Finally, Cromwell Energy had their at-bat and they knocked it out of the park. When Jeff from Cromwell Energy came over, he was on time and proceeded to look at the boiler and all of the return pipe/pipework infrastructure. He also looked at and counted each fin on the radiators that were piped in (NO ONE ELSE DID THIS PRIOR TO QUOTING THE JOB!!). He listened to the background that I provided on the system and was "real" with me on what needed to be done. Clearly, my situation was not a simple plug-and-play which is essentially how the other companies seemed to view it. Cromwell Energy won the job because I could sense they knew what they were talking about and wouldnt leave me stranded. Prior to my install in 9/2025, Jeff and some of the crew came out to review the pipework and entry points - essentially to ensure that they weren't missing any materials or fittings / establish a plan-of-attack. The job was completed in 2 days and the radiators have radiated heat for the first time since 2008ish. True miracle workers and they made sure everything worked - they even put new vents on each radiator (the old ones were probably from the 50s). Install team were friendly and schooled me on the intricacies of the system. Highly recommend!

I couldn't be more pleased with Cromwell Energy. Having your AC go down during warm weather is less than ideal, however getting Cromwell Energy on the problem was by far the best choice I made. They were able to come out same day, diagnose the issue, and order the required parts. When the parts came in, they came right out to fix the problem, and the house is now cool. I trust and will now rely on Cromwell Energy for my heating and cooling needs.
